Company To Host Annual Protector User Group Meeting In Nashville

(NASHVILLE, TN) August 3, 2022 — Market-leading telecom solutions supplier Equinox Information Systems today announced details for the 2022 edition of their annual Protector User Group Meeting (PUGM). The educational, networking conference kicks off mid-day October 3 and ends mid-day October 5 and takes place at Nashville's Music City Center. After having to transition to an online format due to the pandemic, the company is thrilled to return to in-person user groups this year. The event is designed for communications companies and telecom service providers and attracts loss/fraud prevention experts, fraud analysts, NOC staff, engineers, switch personnel, technical support, and billing specialists from all sectors of the industry.

In advance of PUGM, Equinox is offering an informative 'Fraud 101' webinar on September 13 to examine the role business rules play in detecting and combatting fraud. The online training is open to any member of the Equinox community regardless of ability to attend the onsite PUGM in Nashville.

Equinox CEO Byron Middendorf is set to provide the opening remarks and formal introductions October 3 after lunch. PUGM's two-day lineup includes interactive training led by implementation and fraud expert Christi Vanoye, along with sessions to illustrate best practice fraud management strategies, demonstrate the newest system features, discuss recent fraud challenges, and provide insight and guidance from the Equinox Support team. Equinox EVP David West serves as the event's emcee and spearheads the crowdsourcing session on future product features.

"Equinox returned to in-person events when we hosted the TeleLink User Group Meeting in April. While we have always looked forward to and valued user groups, this first one of 2022 was truly an amazing event after being relegated to online events for the past two years. While we are grateful for the technology that allowed us to continue serving our customers while they kept the telecom industry going, there is simply no substitute for face-to-face gatherings. The Protector User Group Meeting is always a highlight of the year for our team and is wildly popular with our users. We are beyond thrilled to welcome everyone back to Nashville this fall!" — Chris Lowe, VP of Equinox Support
